The Istrian Malvasia is a typical grape variety of the Friulian hills, where it has been present for a long time and is mainly grown in the "terre bianche" (white soils), such as in the Collio area, where it shows a beautiful note of fresh herbs. It has nothing to do with the aromatic Malvasia typical of other regions and manages to express itself with a unique elegance and refinement. In fact, in this area, even when Malvasia reaches full ripeness, thanks to the natural characteristics of the calcareous soils, it maintains an extraordinary freshness.

Manzoni is a grape of character, with a particular history because it was born in the '30s at the Oenological School of Conegliano by prof. Luigi Manzoni who experimented with a far-sighted cross between a Rhine Riesling and a Pinot Bianco. This cross has given life to a grape capable of giving fragrant white wines and good structure. This wine has always fascinated us and we continue to produce it with a light cold maceration on the skins that gives a great character.
